Last time I was union {without going into a very long thread}. Our union was busted by Another unionized source and we couldn't do anything about it.

When they decided to start back up without us, the SP used a helicopter, come in every morning and case the picket posts and it would leave and then a bunch of police cars blocked off the side streets and the helicopter would escort the scabs in .
We weren't asking for more money that was in 83 and we were making an average of $12.00 an hr plus if you were on an incentive type job you could make more.
the contract they offered was for $2000.00 deductible for our health ins. per family member and If we didn't sign the contract we no longer had a job there..
Took almost two years but they changed the name of the company and at first bussed some work release criminals from another county to help get them ready to restart.
