I agree,and that's what happened to the worlds largest refrigerator factory 9 miles from me. They went to Mexico because the union workers said "I can't work for less than $17.50 an hour." They should have gotten out of the way and let somebody else do the job,because there were plenty of people around here that could and would have. Most of those people who couldn't work for less still aren't working at all. Guess they proved their point.
If you need 500 employees and offer $10 an hour,then don't get enough applicants to fill the positions,then that job is worth whatever you have to offer to get enough workers to fill your labor needs. It might be 12,might be 15. But if you have 500 people willing to do that job for $8,then that's what the job is worth. Why should labor be any different than any other commodity?
