One of the farmers local to me uses the tires on his truck 'til he decides he wants to replace them (every year or two, typically)...the tires off the truck go smuck onto the front rims of the loader tractor....a 235 or 245, I believe. They use it for snow removal, loading ~1000lb bales onto the trailers, etc. Probably not as heavy-duty a use as a backhoe would get, but I'd imagine you'd be fine with a pair of 10-ply. Never hurts to try.
