I just returned from Illinois on a wonderful bowhunt. It was a little costly, though. The people of Illinois were some of the nicest folks I"ve ever met, (I"m from North Florida). Before this trip, I didn"t have a positive view of northerners, but I think it"s mainly some of the ones from the northeast that I"ve had bad dealings with. Anyway, here"s my proposal: Myself and three friends will come and harvest as many deer as the DNR will allow from your farm, pay you fair short term lease, respect your property and even even cook you a venison dinner if there"s a spot we can set up camp!And, if one of the guys fills his tags early, you can put him to work. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
