Having a bowl full of gas don't not rule out that it might not be getting gas. My OC3 has done it many times over the years. That because there is no sreen on the fuel pickup where the sediment bowl screws into the tank. One little piece of leaf or debris is all it takes to close off all fuel flow. Bowl stays full, but there is no flow and the engine dies. Then, let it sit for a few minutes, and it will start right up again. I finally fixed mine by making my own screened-intake fitting.
