No matter what model you want to get TPat has the right idea with the Wolverine Durashocks. Dad has been wearing them for about 18 years and since turning me on to them I'ver worn nothing but Wolverines for about 16 years. Dad turned me on to them after finding they were the only boot he could comfortably wear after having his big toe amputated due to an accident. He tried just about every other brand made but with the scar tissue left from the amputation the Wolverines were the only ones that had enough cushion for him to be comfortable. He soon discovered it made a world of difference in the way his back felt at the end of the day also so he turned me on to them since, at the time, I was working inside on concrete all day. I can vouch for his assessment, they made a world of difference in the way my back felt at the end of the day. I'm outside mopst of the time n ow just like he is but on rocks, sand, concrete whatever the surface, in my opinion, there is no better boot for your back.
