It's always sad when you have to say good bye to your best friend. At least they don't have to suffer anymore. That's one of the best benefits there is. My grandpa caught pneumonia when he was 95 yrs. old and they had him hooked up to all kinds of tubes and stuff. He wanted to take them out but couldn't. Being able to end an animals suffering is a blessing and I'm sure the pet is very grateful to you. Dave
