Glad you got it on safely. A few years ago I had a fairly large bull with horns and an attitude. I didn't want to get in a pen with him but did want to take him to the sale. Over a period of several days I did the following: Took cattle trailer to pasture with feed, got the herd coming to it. Put a small trough of feed at the back door of trailer. Moved trough into the trailer graduallya few times. Bull was always the first to get feed. He put his front foot on the trailer but backed off when his foot slipped. Next time I had sand on the floor. Got him used to getting front feet on floor. Then tied rope to trough and passed rope to front of trailer, which is a homemade 14 foot bumper hitch type with center divider. Used rope to pull trough to front. Bull got on, I went around to back to shut swinging doors. He was sticking out a little and didn't want to be pushed so he turned around to talk to me with his front end. By the time he turned around I had the doors shut, Game over. Took a lot of time but got job done with no injuries.
