If no body got hurt in the bargain ya "done good". I did some things with cattle in my youth that looking back at I shake my head. When I first started breeding cows AI I would feed the cow apples from my hand then throw a lasso over her head. She would then take off at a run with me on the other end of the rope. The first tree we came to I would go on the opposite side of the cow and duck under the rope as I ran my end around the tree. This would bring her up to an abrupt halt and I would go around the tree a couple times and tie off the rope. I would then chase her around the tree till she wound up all the rope and snub her off tight to the tree trunk and the technician would breed her. The tech thought it was all pretty amusing to watch. I wouldn't try that now that's for sure.
