wsmm: As I understand this, the concern is not that containers are in pickup or trunk. The concern as I've been told is containers on plastic bed liner of the pickup, mainly plastic on plastic.
I used to do this quite regularly, and it was the owner of the filling station that brought it to my attention. Whether he knew what he was talking about, I don't know. I often think what bothered him more than anything, was the fact I managed to get there with 10 jerry cans every time price was down. I doubt if he made anymore, just couldn't stand my getting it at the low price.
