I think Wyoming is the largest producer of coal. The Powder River Valley coal mines send out something like 100 trains with 104 cars a day. The railroad does quite well. I have seen it and have several cousins mining coal there. And who cares what: 1. The San Francisco paper says and 2. who cares if we build any more dirty coal fired plants. In North Dakota they are turning coal into gas at Dakota Gasification plant near Behula . They have been doing it for years and making a lot of money and employing many people. I say cap emissions tight and have them go up for auction on the free market. My life gets better, so will everyones that has any kind of skills in idustrial efficiency. I could not help but notice the Government of China has ordered 100 nuke power plants ftom General Electric. I hope we do something like before China ownes GE..
