I am about to buy a 1953 MiM Diesel tractor and am keen to find out a little bit more about it. The serial number is 053000549, It was exported to the UK from Canada I believe. The MiM decals on the bonnet sides look to have been sprayed over at some time, with a long black lettered transfer over this area with black wording Mineapolis Moline. The only reference that I have been able to find is to a UDIL model, but cannot find any photographs or information about this tractor generally.
Can anyone help me please? I would like to find a manual for her, and any other information that may be available, based on the serial number. She runs very well, starts right on the button and for the year is a nice tractor. > She also has some minor but extensive surface rust and will need a full re-spray.
