Big old articulate 4x4's are really hard to beat for what they can do. Yes they are hard to keep up and expensive to fix and lots of people call them yard ornaments now but they sure can do a lot of pulling when they are in their element. I like the Whites like this 4-180. The confidence they give you when it starts getting wet out makes a big difference. In dry conditions they don't have much advantage over a big 2wd. In fact 2wd's are smoother riding and usually quieter than the big old clunky 4x4's but when it starts getting greasy and you have fall tillage to get done. 4x4 hands down!
