You might want to check with the Oliver or the crawler boards if you haven't already. They might know of some nearby parts stash/source. Having older stuff can work if it's in decent shape to begin with, it doesn't get pushed beyond what it's capable of, and if parts are still obtainable. The newest piece of iron we use to put up horse hay is now 'bout 40 years old. Seems to have worked each of the last 10 summers. In the case of some Oliver (or other out of production) stuff, that might even mean buying a spare (perhaps non-running) one of whatever so as to have spares, if there's no other readily available parts source. The more common engine parts like plugs or injectors, filters, rebuild kits, starters and generators are generally available from places like CT or NAPA.
