No President can "fix" the economy. The only things the government can do is: 1. Raise or lower taxes. 2. The Federal reserve lowers or raises interest rates. 3. Trade laws are enacted. Keep in mind that the congress has far more control over the economy then the president. Congress writes the tax laws, Congress spends your money and the president may or may not approve of the spending. The voters always say "the economy" what about Morals, picking supreme court justices, Sending troops overseas. Gun rights too. The economy has little to do with what the president does. We have free market capitalism.....Right.
