Regarding Glenn Beck, I'm pretty sure it was Monday,Sept. 29 when he began his radio show saying "if you're still in the stock market, RUN! (the sky is falling- he'd been saying that for about 18 months but now there was new urgency) I immediately called my Edward Jones broker and arranged to go in and review my mutual fund investments. Broker basically shrugged. He told me about some really big corporate investors he has, they're staying as is, and besides, the fund managers do this for us. Right. Beginning that day and for the past month the market dropped, upwards of 3000 points! And I lost proportionally. Why not get out of the market then and get back in now that it's way down? What's ironic, up until the beginning of Sept. Rush was saying the economy's fine, the opposite of what Beck was saying for quite a while. I wonder what will help things turn around for the better?
