Same idea with most brands of tractors. Generally about 1938 or 39 tractor sales were to the point where appearance and operator convenience became selling points. Major manufacturers started hiring Industrial Designers like Loewy and Dreyfus to wrap pretty sheet metal around the basic mechanicals.
