Thanks for your posts,I changed the head gasket and primed the diesel system,then towed the tractor today,she started and runs.I ran it for approximately 20 minutes or so then shut it down.Although it runs OK there is air in the system and the engine does not open up,but it did seem to run better the longer it ran.It is not there yet,but as one poster suggested just running the engine,the diesel system is designed to bleed itself of air. My question am I on the right track here?
