The debates are just a contest to see who can say what people want to hear the best. No one is going to show their true colors durring an election. You have to look back at what they said and how they voted when they were not running for office. You can also look at where they come from, if you don't want to look up old interviews or voting records. Lets see here we have two choices. One was a POW and severed thier contry with honor, then went on to the Senate where they have years of bipartisan votes that were based on what was good for the country. On the other hand we have some one who spent 20 years going to a church but did not share any views with the preacher, worked as a picnic planner and got churned out of one of the most corupt political machines in the country.
