Bought a 70 or 71 Pontiac Lemans with a 428 when I was a junior in high school for $400 from a friends dad. That car was a power house but... when I got it home my Pa checked it out and said the body was all bondo, the suspension what shot, springs, bushings, he found out alot of things that he said needed work. He made me bring it back. $400. My dad is one that can fix anything, I am not really sure if he made me bring it back because it needed some work, or because he didnt want me to kill myself in it. With all the replacement parts there are today I sure wish I had the car sitting in my shed. Other than that I was always a truck man. Had a '77,(2) '79's, and a '83, all dodges, all 318's 2 with the grannie 4sp.
