I'm in the dog house too. Told my 87 year old Mo-in-law not to sell over the scale at $8.52 like we do about every other year. Besides, she was just gonna put it in a bank cd at 3% or so interest. Her oil checks pay the bills.
Every time I'm over there, she asks me what the price of wheat is now. I tell her that we just as well wait till next year late winter or in the spring and see where the economy is and that she can do whatever she wants to do but don't ever ask for my advice or help again if she don't like my advice.
Then I never hear the end of it because we changed insurance agents after having trouble on a hail claim.
Then I spend my money for fixing her barn, corral, and pasture for the horses.
