My Dad told me of a prank they played on a ornery teacher back in the twenties when e was a kid There was a smaller creek behind their school,with a 1 foot wide board across to act as short cut home for a bunch of students. They had Cut the board halfway trough so it would support one kid at the time only.After a row with that teacher my dad was chased by him and ran across the board to safety, needless to say what happened to the teacher trying to get him.
