i use it all the time.in the old tractors,the up draft carberators work on a mechanical premis.todays fuel is dry,not much lubricant.(no lead). i always get the calls,"I SHUT MY TRACTOR OF,AND GAS KEEPS RUNNING OUT!" I USE A PINT TO 5 GALLONS OF GAS. try that in your old case.it's possible you could have a bent valve.try it anyways. as far as your dodge,some things you just can't help! missery.
