A guy a work told me he was invited down to the local township office to explain the difference between two satellite maps of his property. The one taken last year showed nothing in the back forty. The one taken this year showed a roofed outbuilding. They were interested because they know there were no permits issued on that property in the last year...
Apparently there's software that will put two satellite plots together and show you the differences. Not as big a deal as it sounds to plot the township and compare from year to year...
