Paul, I'm sure its an F124 or F142 Continental. The dist thru the head is a dead give away. See if someone around you has a Gas engined grey Lincoln SA200 welder. They used those engines , but most of them, had Magnetos , and there is a freeze plug in the head where the dist went. You will see the info plate right by the dipstick, but they say "Made for Lincoln by Continental Motors , Muskegon Mi."
