Well, with the dist thru the head it's probably a little Continental... parts catalogs (under Clark "tructractor" and Truc Tractor) show the Cont F140, F4121 and F4124, and I don't know how to tell them apart. Cont'ls are noted for having engine #'s in obscure places; hopefully others can suggest where to look. Some catalogs, not showing any years, show an unidentified LeRoi, but I think that was around the early 30's. Good luck
