Well, my take on this is that this is still a remnant of the 9/11 incident. That really hit us in the economy, and I have been waiting for it to play out. Didn't think it would take this long, however.
There has been far too much loose money thrown at the stock market for far too long. It went far higher than it should have, a lot on speculation. There had to be an end to it. Didn't expect this much of a drop either, but with all the other instability in the world's economies, guess it was to be expected. This too will pass. Whether world governments try to prop it up or not - it will seek it's own level, as soon as the mass panic passes.
