I don't know if they have changed any the last ten or so years or not but there was a shop here that started installing them. They voided the warranty on several diesel trucks and the shop ended up eat'n several new engines. Buddy of mine had them put one on about a 99 powerstroke, blew up in less than two months. His was the one of about 6 trucks the shop put new diesels in after installing the K&N.
After what he and several others went through, don't think I want one.
On the other hand, my aunt's husband has one of them souped up ford lighting pick ups and he has had one on it for several years with no problems. He just dirves on the interstate and has never dirven it in dusty conditions.
