WELL, YES, BUT... banks should not be in business to make loans that they KNOW they will foreclose on. That's not making a loan, that's loan sharking. And, now that the loan has gone sour and you've taken the the home- don't whine about how you need BOTH the home AND the money to survive. These banks should be forced to renegotiate the loans at a "do-able" payment- either by extending the loan period (50 or 60 year home loans?) or eating a part of the principle (which they would do when the sold a foreclosure anyway). Hundreds of elderly folks get scammed out of their dough also- somehow we all accept that as reprehensible, why is it any less so when a scoundrel preys on the young?
