You nailed it with your post. America was built and run on what came from the earth since it's start. Be it ore, crops,fuel and water. That time is past and until it comes back we're heading back down the mountain. I made a comment back at election time in 2000 that the ecomony would be strong but it wouldn't be our economy. With the rate of inflation we've seen since 2000 the dow should have been at least 6,000 points higher. In oct. before the election I also moved my 401K funds in a stable value option and left it there. Sure many made a lot more money investing but I'm way ahead of them now. They lost so much they have tears in their eyes when they talk about it now. You can't go to war and cut taxes at the same time. You can't let China exceed the trade agreement 632 times the ammount alotted under the agreement from 2000-2003 that removed jobs from the US in record numbers and expect things to keep going forward for us here. Don't expect anything to change until we get our MFG. jobs back. If that doesn't happen get ready to change your lifestyle greatly.
