Well, let me think. The 35 has live PTO and Hydraulics, overhead valves, position and draft controls, hi/low transmission. Probably some other things the 9N didn"t. Maybe someone else will jump in. The predecessors to the Z134 Continental engine were prone to cracking if overheated; I don"t think yours had that problem, assuming it"s a gas engine. I have a 35 with a 4 cylinder diesel which doesn"t like to start when it"s cold. It need a shot of ether to kick off. Apparantely pretty common with the Standard 23 engine. Not a problem with the later Perkins 3 cyl. models. I think you"re going to like it. It still has that "cute" factor the N series Fords had too. :-)
