I have sold, mounted & balanced tires for years using a bubble balancer and the same at home on the farm. Sometimes they are in perfect balance and sometimes not. I'll bet if you dismounted and remounted those tires, they would balance differently. I don't think the brand has anything to do with it.
As for the Chinese rant, I think the ranter is a little far out. I do, however, support and practice avoiding Chinese products whenever possible due to their quality control and cheating. They put melamine in our pet food and poison out pets, now they have been caught putting melamine in candy we import. Some of their catfish was reclled due to contamination. I have yet to see a quality tool from China. They had multiple tire recalls in the recent past due to casing failure. Now, I hear John Deere will be building tractors in China - I won't buy one. Their pollution is so bad it can be detected in the Pacific Northwest where I live. I will pay more for the American tires and balance them as needed.
