Those are your compression washers that seal the area between the head and the injector. Take a pik and get down in there and take them out with that. They should come easily. When I had pulled the injectors out of my pop's 354 perkins it wasn't that big of a deal at all. You'll definitely want to replace those with new one's and I'd also suggest lightly coating the outside of the injectors with anti-seize before putting them back down in the head. It will just make it an easier job for the next guy to pull them out.
