Why? Are you looking at the one for sale right now on Ebay - that sits 20 miles from me here in New York?
It's about a 30 horse tractor. Made in India and England via a joint-venture between IH and Mahindra. Parts today - if bought from IH - come from Mahindra Company.
First B-275 was made in 1958 and - if diesel - had an in-line CAV injection pump with an air-governor. Later models use rotary CAVs with mechancial governors. Mid-1959, many got imported to the USA and Canada.
B-275 was based on an updated B-250 that came out in 1955. After the B-275, it was replaced by the B-414 which had power steering as an option and a larger diesel engine - 154 c.i. instead of 144 c.i.
With the B-275 diesels - the BD-144 engine blocks are prone to cracking by the main bearing webs.
