Common issue, FIgure out how to remove the shifter lever from the trans top. Pins, or bolts on a plate likely. Look inside and find shift rails. move the to alignment with a big screwdriver. Look at the tip of the lever, and weld up the worn place/s then file/grind to tight in the rail slots when in gear. Good luck. JimN
