30 years ago I was buying Deere As, Bs, Ls, GPs etc. for $50 - $100 each. Same with many other older tractors from the 1930s - 1950s. I don't find them that cheap anymore, so I don't see any great down-trend. There seems to be spikes along the way when some people pay rediculous prices for tractors, then find out later they can't sell for the same. That's not a real change as I see it. Just means they bought high and can't resell high.
Also, with the smaller stuff - especially antique garden tractors, they seem to keep going up. A lot of the stuff I'd find for free just a few years ago now sells for pretty high prices.
I go to a lot of tractor auctions, and I find very few bargains.
