I do my own investing, trying to apply the principles of sheep, sheep dogs, and wolves. In effect people are one of the three. Most are sheep, they follow along. A few are sheep dogs and try to take care of the sheep, and then the wolves. I'm sure not a sheep, never have been in the way I live, the way I look, or how I invest my money. From April 2004 until this month I've tried to stay very liquid, money market funds, CD's, etc. I have had some real estate development investments but these are from '04. This month I've been buying in, mostly in large cap and mid cap stock funds up to about 25 percent of what I've got readily available. To date its a wash. In 2010 if the Dow is at 14000 I'll feel pretty good, if its at 5000 probably not so hot.
