Have to pay the tractor and out of that hourly amount you have to pay the operator (wage, taxes, etc) and operating expenses (transportation, fuel, oil, repairs, monthly payment, taxes, etc).
As a comparison... For me to have silage custom chopped the 6 row chopper runs $400 per hour w/ operator..... that's $4K / day just to cut and chop corn and blow it into a truck or wagon... That also has to get paid... :shock:
