Spook, I have an old Garcia-Rossi Stagecoach model side x side, with twin exterior hammers and twin triggers. It came standard with 18.5 in barrels. I love it, it is my bed gun! As far as cutting your barrels down to 18.5, I would Not ruin a gun My Dad gave me, Unless I could buy a barrel to cut down or buy one all ready shortened with chokes already installed. Again do not cut your original barrels, find another to cut down or find a shorter one.
