Yeah, same here in WNY. I have a field next to me that used to be an old quarry that is filled with misc scrap steel. I got permission from the current owner to go back there and "clean it up" for him. I have been scrapping since about last March. I have been getting to know my local scrap processor very well and he tells me what to expect as far as scrap prices go. Last load I took in was at the end of August, he said that prices were dropping in September, but would go back up around October. So, I have taken a small vacation from my scrapping operation until October sometime. It's nice to get a breather anyhow!
