Endplay is set by moving the flywheel farther onto the crankshaft after loosening the two bolts that clamp the flywheel to the crankshaft. Be SURE you get them TIGHT when you are done.
There is an oil slinger just inboard of the flywheel that is pinned to turn with the crankshaft/flywheel. If the pin wears out, it will slip around and leak. There is a cork or rubber ring inside the slinger to keep oil from sneaking out between the crankshaft and the slinger, as well.
Note the flywheel is timed to the crankshaft for dynamic balance.
