I did all the negotiating for my last new car purchase over the internet. Found all the dealers in a 50 mile radius from my house who had the car I wanted. E-mailed them all (I think it was like 7 differnt dealers). 6 of them gave me some "Come on down, lets make a deal" kind of replys. But one was willing to work the deal all over e-mail. Got the price, financing, and everything worked out.
Walked in the next day, filled out the paperwork, and drove it home.
