I just cant see the greed in some people, referring to the sight in Shanksville,Pa .The owner of an abandoned strip mine. figures it has a lot of value.
All he can see are $$$$ signs when the whole country are driving up there to either mourn, or show respect,to those brave people on that plane.
I can't even imagine myself that being on a supposedly joyful trip having to make a decision that affected the family's and friends on that flight.
No one wanted,or expected to die that day. Those that were able to get into the cockpit may have not seen it coming as they were busy. The ones in the back had to see it coming and I feel especially bad for them as they knew it was their last time to get right with God. Some was even talking to family members on their cell phones saying good by for their last time.
The natural gas company's are taking land for right of way, called imminent domain, that is good farmland.
And for now the government is letting them but, They don't want an abandoned strip job that now is a part of our lives, and history.
They are instead moving the things around the sight to another location.and Just maybe future generations won't feel the impact as we did, without actually seeing the devastation.
