Yes, we have corrupt politicians in the US. The big difference between here and Mexico (and other third world countries) is that we go after them and put them in jail. Look at Enron, MCI, ex-Congressmen in jail right now, etc. The whole system is corrupt in Mexico. We here in the Detroit area have the biggest example of a public official who raped the system (recently resigned Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick) but DID NOT GET AWAY WITH IT. Unfortunately, his resignation speech last week was as arrogant as ever.
