Doc....in reply to your good intentions, that would be a good idea but the thing is controlled with an RF signal from a remote control and apparently they have tried adjusting the frequency cause it is putting out all kinds of harmonics and actually blanks a tv completely out close aboard and made mine lose most vhf channels around 60 feet away. I think it needs a factory tech to go through it...probably with a frequency counter...they might have even taken a shield off knowing how they seemed to operate. Anyhow, I know what it did and I'm not qualified to align it...and it's been approximately five years now and the thing is probably obsolete by now. The couple that live there now are wonderful. It bothers me but, I think I'll let the sleeping dog lay. I guess I just hoped everyone wouldn't call me a bad neighbor for taking care of it the way I did. My vent is done...thanks for the comments. ohfred
