Levi has a good method that works as well as any that I've tried. Another method that I use ocasionally if the bolt is out in the open. Instead of using the flat washer and nut is to use a piece of flat iron, drill a hole near one end and weld it on. You save one weld and you can tap the flat iron back and forth as you're applying the P oil and won't get a busted knuckle if it breaks. Just make sure that the flat iron is welded on straight and will turn all the way around. Levi, you can tell 'em an old machinist told you that one too.
