I have really wet soils here in southern MN. Last year was the 2nd driest year I've ever lived through, and we had really good corn. So I come from a different perspective....
Been kinda wet this year down here. There was a dry spell in the middle, corn on my one sand hill rolled a little bit. But was nice to get the low spots dried out some, so the roots grew & the crops in the low started perking up.
Got 3 inches in the past week, way too much rain again. A damp forcast, rain chance about every other day.
