I've been looking for a small tractor for about a year now. I'm curious if tractors really sell for some of the prices I see advertized. I've looked at several that need a fair amount of work before they could be put to every day use, and guys still want $3000 to $4000 for them! I started out looking for a JD 420/430, but have found out they're worth more to collectors to paint up and put in shows than to someone like me who's looking for one to do work with. I'm about ready to just go down and finance a new Cub Cadet or Kubota; at least then I'll get a warrenty!
