The HD3 had a 4 cyl A.C. d175ci engine. It is the same as the D15 wheel tractor. The problems with the tracks coming off could be as simple as the tracks being loose all the way to the whole undercarriage being worn out. If a bushing is worn so the idler doesn't stay straight and the track comes off the front or The sprocket is worn out so the track binds and throws the track at the sprocket or Rails are so worn it rides the track off the sprocket or The under carriage is bent and throws the track off the front or rear or Bottom rollers are loose, missing or worn out so the bottom of track doesn't stay lined up and comes off. If it runs and you run it back and forth while turning with the tracks adjusted and they start to come off or bind up you can tell what the problem is. If the tracks are tighter than they should be they are probably worn out if they try to jump off....james
