why is it when the 3 point or hyd. don't work most run right out and buy and change the oil? the old fords and ferguson where made with no filter the pumps a real simple and have been running for 60+ years and will pump just about anything that is in the tractor oil,water,or a mix of both sure water is bad and yes it will wreck the pump but if your hyd. is not working it's more then the oil. the neglect for 60 + years has taken it's toll on the pump or the control linkage, or some other parts. water in the oil is real bad if you are in the cold country and it freezes it likes to brake pumps and other things in side
